Our Wedding - 9/15/18

Even though this is my first blog post, I was too excited not to share with you all Zachary and I's wedding photos! We just got them back a few days ago and we are so in love. I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to our photographer, Jamie Gens for being so amazing and capturing our special day. I've always loved reading about others wedding days, what happened, how it went, details on the event, and so on. So I thought to myself before writing this post "Why not share our special day?". I hope you enjoy!

At around 10am, my girls and I started to get ready. Surprisingly, the nerves had not set in yet. I decided to do my own makeup, as it had always been a passion of mine. I feel that it super important to feel comfortable with everything that you do on your wedding day, and I new I wouldn't be happy with someone else doing my makeup. It was such a fun morning, helping each other get ready, cracking jokes, & just bonding before the big I Do.  

Putting my dress on for the final time was a moment I will never forget. I have always had low self esteem and never really looked in the mirror and said " I am beautiful". Once I put that dress on, I for once felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my entire life. I couldn't wait for my father and my future husband to see me in it for the first time!

I will never forget the look in my husbands eyes when he saw me walk down the aisle. His whole face lit up and there may have been a tear or two 😉. The ceremony was short and sweet. I don't think I have ever been so nervous in my entire life!

I can't say it enough, our Photographer was hands down the most sweetest, most comfortable person to work with. She made the photoshoot so much fun and I will never forget the laughs and smiles we shared with our bridal party. 

The reception was definitely the best night of my life. We danced and laughed the entire night away. It's definitely one of those moments you wish you could live over and over again.
